I have had as many as 3 storage units at Acorn, but am now down to 1. It is a climate- controlled space, and I keep miscellaneous items there, since I lack storage space at home. The building is well-maintained, older flatbed carts have been replaced, and the onsite staff have been pleasant and efficient. I have been paying my rent online for the past several months, and have not needed to go to the building. I plan to continue as a customer.

Went to another place first, they demanded I buy insurance, a lock and pay an admin fee. Acorn just wanted a one-time admin fee that included the lock. Storage prices are the best in town, staff is knowledgeable and easy to work with. Happy customer!

Reasonable and competitive rates, friendly service, easy to sign up and payment, and cancellation was less than 1 minute to do! No complaints from us! We have rented from Acorn Mini storage in Eagan the past 4 and a half years and have had no complaints. The few times we needed assistance or customer service, the staff were prompt and friendly. When I called to inform them we would be ending service, they were pleasant in guiding us in how to officially submit cancellation and happily reminded us the lock is ours to keep. We Definitely recommend Acorn mini storage!

This place is creepy and the downside is no public bathroom after hours. The drive thru tunnel is scary at night being no garage doors. I was moving in last week when a storm hit. I did notice some leaks in the roof which I hope will not be something that will take place in my unit. The staff at this location is very nice and accommodating. I love the solid doors. This place has a personality for sure. If the music in the hallways could be turned up just a little more, that would be great! This is an older style building. To access the upper level one must have a code. The place is huge. I love that it’s 24/7 access, but one will not want to stick around too long because of how massive it is, and the creep factor.

This storage facility was okay. It is an outdoor storage. They randomly lock the office during business hours when they need to go around the property rather than having a second employee. However when the employee came back into the office she was extremely helpful friendly etc... You can rent U-Hauls from them for a day and they have a referral system if you go to Acorn storage make sure to ask about it

Disappointing end. When we went to move stuff out of storage the large freight elevator wasn’t working.. From what I understand the large elevator had been out of order for about two months. When I asked the service guy about it he just shrugged his shoulders and said ”Yeah, it’s broken”. Then, when moving stuff out of storage the small elevator got stuck so we ended up having to use the stairs for most of the move. Very frustrating. I suggest people find storage elsewhere

Beware of the rate hikes. I've had this unit going on three years now. I got it for about $169 a month. They have steadily increased it every few months with only a 30 day warning. It's now $300 for the same unit! This may the part of their business model. They get you in and there is no cap on how high the rent with go. No annual contract so you have fixed price. They just change it at their discretion knowing most won't be able to move their stuff within the 30 days. This is a dishonest business practice.

Rented a unit here for about a year and half. Rent increased at least 5 times in that period. Went from $70 a month to $96. A 37% increase. They also reduced available hours to get to your unit. Over all, really disappointed in their reliability and trustworthiness.

I called ahead, made a reservation, and was told they were open until 4:00. When I showed up, they were closed with two signs on the door; one said "back by noon" and the other said "closed for Memorial Day -- see you Tuesday." Bob showed about 5 minutes past noon, and it went downhill from there. I went to Simply Self Storage instead, got a lower price and a much nicer and more professional person to deal with.
